Delivery and Shipping

1 Dispatch time

At All In One Security and Home Automation (Pty) Ltd we understand the urgency in getting security products to your doorstep to secure your property in no time.

During working hours, orders are processed within 2-3 hours but please allow up to 24 hours for the order to be processed before it is made available to the 3rd party courier service provider for delivery. 

All In One Security and Home Automation (Pty) Ltd ships out orders within one business day after receiving the order and excludes Public Holidays and Weekends. If the order is placed and paid for before 10am, we will try our upmost to ship the order the same day alternatively it will remain one business day after the order is placed.

 

2 Delivery cost

A fixed delivery fee of R 115-00 will be charged for orders less than R 1 000-00.

No delivery fee will be charged for orders above R 1000-00.

Some larger or heavier items outside a radius of 25 kilometres from Germiston may incur an addition shipping fee not more than R 250-00. The amount charged for larger or heavier items will be calculated and displayed upon checkout.

 

3 Delivery time

Deliveries are made nationwide to your doorstep using 3rd party courier service providers.

Gauteng: 1 -2 working days

KZN: 2 – 3 working days

CPT: 3 – 5 working days

Outlying or grey area: 3 – 7 working days

You will receive a shipping confirmation e-mail with tracking info once the order has been processed and collected by the 3rd party courier service provider. Should you not receive your order within the time frame set out above after receiving the shipment confirmation e-mail, then please send us an e-mail to support@allinonesecurity.co.za and we will look into the delayed delivery for you and communicate accordingly.

Delivery times are estimates only and All In One Security and Home Automation shall not be liable for delays caused by the 3rd party courier service provider.

No stock item will be released for shipment if the order has not been settled in full and the amount reflecting in our bank account.

 

All In One Security and Home Automation is an online store and orders are delivered to you in accordance to the Shipping Policy and no collection of ordered good will be allowed.  

 

Delivery costs and delivery times may change at any given time without notice to you and the information displayed on this Shipping Policy will be applicable to you upon purchase made from our Website.

 

PLEASE NOTE – We cannot ship orders to certain townships, farms, plots or extreme outlying areas and you will be notified telephonically or per e-mail if that is the case, and you will be given the option to either cancel the order or we will have it delivered to the closest Pudo Collection point to you.

Returns

Standard Returns Policy

All In One Security and Home Automation (Pty) Ltd  wants you to be satisfied with your purchase made. Should you not be completely satisfied, you can return the product to us and we will either repair/replace it, or refund you, subject to the below terms.

Certain parts of this Policy do not apply to products sold in the bargain bin that includes products without packaging, refurbished or used products, and this is indicated in the relevant sections below.

The Returns Policy forms part of the Terms and Conditions Policy, thus words defined in the Terms and Conditions Policy have the same meaning in this Policy, unless the context indicates otherwise.

Nothing in this Returns Policy is intended to limit your statutory rights in any way.

 

Preparing you products for a return

To enable All In One Security and Home Automation (Pty) Ltd to process your return request as soon as possible, you will be responsible for the following:

  • the product must be packaged safely and securely to protect it during transit and handling;
  • clearly mark your parcel with your order number on the outside
  • ensure that all parts, accessories, product manuals and original packaging are included in the parcel that were sold with the product.

Should you fail to adhere to these requirements, the returns process could be delayed or result in the return being declined altogether.

 

1 Unwanted products

You can return unwanted products, provided:

  • the product is unused and unopened (seals still intact), with its original packaging being undamaged and in a new sellable condition;
  • there are no missing parts or accessories;
  • you log a return in writing to support@allinonesecurity.co.za within 7 days of receipt or collection of unwanted products.

Unwanted products must be returned to All In One Security and Home Automation (Pty) Ltd at your own expense no later than 5 days after logging the return in writing. Failure to return the product to us with the 5 days will result in the return request being rejected. Please send the unwanted products to 43 Sinclair Road, Lambton, Germiston, 1407 and the same address is used to collect rejected returns.

Once we have inspected the product and validated the return, we will notify you in writing whether the returned products were accepted or rejected.

If the return validation is successful, you will be refunded the purchase price less any courier charges incurred by All In One Security and Home Automation (Pty) Ltd upon the initial sales transaction, and will be refunded within 10 days after receiving the returned items. Some products require Supplier/Manufacturer assessments, and for that reason refunds take up to 10 days.

Please note that we only refund to the payment method that you originally used. Payment that was made by credit card will be refunded to the same credit card used.

All returns are subject to up to a 30% restocking fee if the item returned is no longer in a brand new condition (non-sellable condition) or if the items seal/packaging has been broken or damaged.

In the event that the return validation is unsuccessful, you will be notified in writing within 10 days of receiving the returned items. Should the item require refurbishment or re-packaging, a quote will be sent to you for approval. If the quote is approved by you, it will be deducted from the purchase price together with the courier expense incurred by us on the initial sale. The difference will be refunded within 5 days of quote being accepted. In the event that the quote is not accepted, the return will be declined, and you will have 30 days to collect the returned items before it is disposed of.

 

2 Not what I ordered

In the event that we accidently deliver the wrong product to you, or the product is not as described on the Website, please notify us within 7 days of receiving the product in writing to support@allinonesecurity.co.za and we will collect the product from you at no charge.

If the product is missing any parts or accessories, you will need to follow the process set out in section 3 below.

Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will deliver the correct product as soon as possible if the correct product is in stock. Should the product not be in stock or available for whatever reason, you will be refunded the full purchase price within 10 days of receiving the return.

 

3 Products damaged on delivery

Should a product be damaged or missing any parts or accessories at the time of delivery or collection, please notify us within 3 days of such delivery or collection in writing to support@allinonesecurity.co.za

We will arrange to collect the damaged product from you at no charge. Once we have inspected the product and validated your return, we will send you a replacement unit as soon as possible if the product is in stock. Should the product not be in stock, we will refund you the purchase price within 5 days for validating the return.

In the event that a return validation is successful on parts or accessories short delivered, the missing parts or accessories will be sent to you as soon as possible if stock is available. Should stock not be available for the missing parts or accessories then the product will be collected from you and if the product collected pass the validation process then the full purchase price will be refunded within 10 days after receiving the returned product.

 

4 Defective products

We do our best to ensure that the products we deliver to you are of high quality, and in good working order and without defects.

What is a defect? A defect is a material imperfection in the manufacture of a product or any characteristic of the product, which makes the product less acceptable than one would reasonably be entitled to expect in circumstances.

The following will NOT be regarded as defects and will not entitle you to a return under this section 4:

  • faults resulting from normal wear and tear;
  • damage arising from negligence, user abuse or incorrect usage of the product;
  • damage arising from electrical surges and or sea air corrosion;
  • damage arising from electricity fluctuations;
  • damage arising from lightning strikes;
  • damage arising from faults in electrical wiring;
  • damage arising from faulty installations;
  • damage caused by a superior force (vis major) or if the product is infested with insects or pests;
  • damage arising from water or liquid;
  • damage arising from a failure to adequately care for the product;
  • damage arising from unauthorised alterations to the product;
  • where the specifications of a product, although accurately described on the Website and generally fit for its intended purpose, do not suit you;
  • installations not carried out by accredited and qualified installers;
  • if the warranty seal or serial number is tampered with;
  • any repair or tampering by an unauthorised person or attempt to repair or tamper with the product, or use of parts not supplied by authorised agents, or alterations to the product shall render the warranty null and void;
  • products purchased in the bargain bin, unless warranty specifically specified on the invoice or product listing in the bargain bin.
  • BATTERIES ARE NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY due to the fact that we do not have control over the applications used for the batteries. No return of batteries will be considered or accepted.

 

Standard Warranty

If you received a product which turns our to be defective, please notify us as soon as possible after you become aware of the defect, but in any event within 12 months of receiving or collecting the product (except in cases where the manufacturer warranty exceeds the 12 months and is displayed on the product page).

You can log a return in writing for defective products to support@allinonesecurity.co.za and if the return is logged within 6 months of receiving or collecting the product, we will collect the product from you at no charge. Should the return be logged after six months of receiving or collecting the product, a shipment fee (starting from R 198) will be applicable to you for the return of the unit if we arrange the collection from you.

Once we have inspected the product and successfully validated your return, we will either repair or replace your product if the product is available. If the product is not available we will give supply an alternative or refund you the full purchase price if the return was logged within 6 months of receiving or collecting the product. If the return was logged after 6 months then the shipment fee will be deducted from the amount owed to you. The difference will be refunded to you with 10 days after the return validation was finalised.

Should the product being returned for assessment be found to be in good working order, unfortunately the courier cost incurred by All In One Security and Home Automation (Pty) Ltd if the return was logged within 6 months of receiving or collecting the product  to collect from you will have to be recovered as well as the cost to send it back to you before the product can be released.

Should the return be rejected, you will be notified in writing. If the product can be repaired by either the Supplier or Manufacturer, a quote will be given to you for the repair and courier costs that was incurred for collecting the product from you as well as the courier fee to deliver the repaired product to you. If the quote is accepted and payment has been received, the repair will be done and sent to you as soon as soon as the repair is complete. In the event that the quote is no accepted, you will be liable for the courier costs incurred if the return was logged within 6 months of receiving or collecting the product and is payable before the returned product can be released to you. Should payment not be received for outstanding courier collection fees then the returned product will be sold as scrap 30 days after date of quote to recuperate some of the courier charges.

In the event of a quote not being accepted or the product is found beyond economical repair that was not covered under the warranty and there is no courier fee liability, you will have 30 days from quotation or notification to you that the product is uneconomical to repair, to arrange collection of the returned item. After 30 days the product will be disposed of in any manner, we deem fit.
